An aquarium in Jacksonville will have endless possibilities for educational and research opportunities. With over 183 public schools, two universities, and a state college in Jacksonville alone, there will always be something going on at the aquarium for people of all ages.
With a focus on science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) at the Aquarium of the First Coast, it will be an amazing place that can inspire the leaders of tomorrow. With our partnership with the Jacksonville Zoo, people will also have the opportunity to learn about the local biodiversity through exhibits covering both Florida habitats and other marine habitats around the world in addition to river tours. The possibilities are endless for what people may learn and take away from the aquarium.
In addition, there will be opportunities for the young, and young at heart to learn something new with conservation workshops, articles from research done at the aquarium, and other festivities that will take place throughout the years at the aquarium.
